How big of a lawn can the BESTMOW T100 handle?
The T-100 can maintain up to 1.5 acres, approximately 65,000 sq ft, through regular daily mowing sessions.
On a single full charge, it covers over 4,000 sq ft.
It also supports up to 10 separate zones or maps, making it suitable for properties with multiple lawn areas.
Is my lawn compatible with the BESTMOW T100?
The T100 works best on lawns where at least 50% of the area is open and unobstructed by trees or buildings.
It needs a reasonably clear view of the sky for RTK GPS positioning.
The T-100 handles slopes up to 45%, about 25°. It is compatible with both warm-season and cool-season grasses. If your lawn has heavy tree cover or very tight spaces, contact BESTMOW support before purchasing to discuss compatibility.
Does the T100 collect or bag grass clippings?
The T100 does not collect or bag clippings.
Because it mows frequently in small increments, the clippings are very fine and fall back into the lawn. This can support healthier lawn growth.
Does BESTMOW require perimeter wires buried in the lawn?
No. The BESTMOW T-100 uses RTK GPS positioning and four onboard cameras to map your lawn boundaries virtually.
No perimeter wires or boundary cables are needed.
What do I need to set up the BESTMOW T-100?
- A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router with repeater functionality at your home
- A suitable outdoor location for the charging station with a nearby power outlet
- A clear, elevated spot for the RTK base station antenna, ideally a rooftop or high exterior wall, with good Wi-Fi signal and an open view of the sky

BESTMOW requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
It does not work with 5GHz-only routers. Your router must also support repeater functionality.
Use your main home network. Guest networks often block the repeater function needed by the charging station.
The mower connects to the charging station through Wi-Fi HaLow, 802.11ah, not directly to your home router.
How long are the power cables for the RTK and charging station?
Both the RTK base station and the charging station come with 10-meter power cables, approximately 33 feet.
Can I use the mower without the RTK base station?
Your BESTMOW T-100 ships with a physical RTK base station, which provides the best positioning accuracy.
If you cannot find a suitable installation spot, a Virtual RTK service from PointOne Navigation may be available in some areas.
Coverage is not universal. Contact BESTMOW support to check whether your address qualifies.
For the most consistent mowing patterns, physical RTK is always recommended.

Can someone with limited mobility install BESTMOW themselves?
The mower weighs approximately 48 lbs. If lifting that weight is difficult, we recommend having someone help with the initial unboxing and placement. Once setup is complete, all operation is done through the app. No lifting is required during normal use.
Where should I install the RTK antenna?
Place the charging station outdoors with at least 0.5 meters of clear, flat space on both sides at the front for docking.
The charging station is IP65-rated for permanent outdoor use, so no shelter or canopy is needed.
Do not place any overhead structure above it, as this can interfere with GPS signals. Install the RTK antenna in an open, elevated location with a clear view of the sky.
Good locations include: Rooftop, High exterior wall, Open elevated structure with minimal obstruction
Avoid areas blocked by: Trees, Buildings, Metal structures
The location also needs a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal, ideally better than -70 dBm. RTK placement is the single biggest factor in mowing accuracy.
